BORIS THE FISH BUXTON LEGEND

Personal histories.  I was sad to hear of the demise of Boris the fish who was a feature of the fishpond in the Pavillion Gardens for several years.  A tribute to him may be found there in the form of the poem below.  As befitting is the line from Catullus to his dead brother:  "ave atque vale" hail and farewell.
